"The idea of using art as a medium to communicate and connect with people from all walks of life - regardless of gender, race, or background - fuels my desire to grow as an artist and make a positive impact on others"

Hi, my name is Prim, PARANEE ARIYASANTICHAI a young artist who is a firm believer in arts and their connections, I am fond of colours, character designing and the art of conjoining each artistic skill of mine to functional and inspiring use. Aspiring for the friendlier world, I have been using my arts and designs to help those less-privileged others and am yearning to learn more to make the world the better place for us, all of us. Character Design in Animated Videos About HIV Positive Children

  • Created a powerful and engaging animated video, which is being displayed at HIV centers and children’s hospitals across Thailand, aiming to reduce stigma and fear of HIV, to help children living with HIV achieve more equal opportunities in supporting a more inclusive environment.

  • Worked closely with medical professionals and HIV advocacy groups to ensure accurate content.

My curiosity about the stigma and misconceptions associated with HIV/AIDS led me to regularly visit Rajavithee Hospital to support children living with the condition through providing educational scholarships. Believing that financial support alone was unsustainable, I embarked on creating an engaging animated video featuring powerful character designs while working closely with medical professionals to educate the public and alleviate the fear surrounding HIV/AIDS.

This experience imparted to me a service-oriented mindset, which I hope to further at UMass through joining “Face AIDS UMass,” where I can help alleviate the burdens of HIV/AIDS from the surrounding Amherst community to Africa.

Designed And Built a Prototype Art Piece Program For Underprivileged Girls (Age 6-12 Yrs)

  • providing opportunities to develop art-based skills and create unique handmade products.

  • Introduced new career paths in arts and crafts for the girls to pursue after leaving the foster house, providing them with a vision for their future in the creative field.

  • Raised funds through fairs and events at schools, hospitals, and businesses to allow for reinvestment to be made in the purchase of new equipment and materials to further enrich the program.

I do believe that everyone should get a chance to learn and raise a skill, so, in this community service volunteer role, I took on the responsibilities of a Leader and Founder within the “Art Enrichment Program for Victims of Crimes and Abuse.” This initiative involved establishing an arts and crafts program specifically designed for underprivileged girls residing at Bhoomvej and Kettrakarn emergency homes. The purpose of this program was not only to provide a creative outlet but also to help raise funds in support of their endeavors.

Before becoming an artist, I was born a girl and a woman; hence, building on my social works, which includes developing an Art Enrichment Program for victims of crimes and abuse, I also aim to inspire and empower women to fearlessly pursue their passions through my artistic creations.

Vice President of Lioncare Project

  • Student-initiated community service group focused on improving health and education of those who are less fortunate and raising awareness on environmental advocacy. Support final-stage leprosy patients by fundraising for their medical expenses and off-site excursions.

  • Provide financial assistance and academic scholarship grants to patients infected with HIV since birth, to promote self-dependency in the future.

To give out and help those who are underpriviledged, as the position of Vice President within the Lionheart Project, which is associated with The Lionheart Society (lionheartsociety.com), I had the privilege of leading a community service organization dedicated to the noble cause of improving healthcare and education in underprivileged communities. I hope that, in the nearing future, the people will get more opportunity to thrive in their own paths and no longer suffered by any illness or poverty.

Character Designer Intern, Clayworks Design Center

  • Created high-quality 3D character designs for a children’s clay house modeling set for playing purposes, which is now available in all Clayworks stores and exported to neighboring countries.

  • Utilized Shapr3d app to create 3D models (Mali and Krathi characters); initial designs recreated using cardboard for evaluation; children focus groups observed testing out the characters to ensure design appropriateness and viability; sheets then sent to the factory for mass production after approval.

Clay is such a good start for kids as it helps strenghten their fine motor so I undertook the creation of 3D character designs using Shapr3d and developed cardboard prototypes. To ensure the product’s suitability, I conducted testing with a children’s focus group. The outcome of this project was the availability of the designed products at international Claywork stores and I am so proud to be the one who helps out.

  • Researched the essential additional skills that students should learn during the pandemic.

That’s what my curiosity asked and through “How Thai Educational Institutions Adjusted During the Pandemic.”, I conducted research and analysis to understand how Thai educational institutions adapted during the pandemic.
